Beginning with the 2009/2010 schoolyear, two additional scholarships will be given for a total of six non-renewable $1,000 college scholarships that are offered by the BVNW PBC to graduating seniors to recognize and reward BVNW students who participate in extracurricular activities and to encourage others to follow in their example. 

Two scholarships will be given to qualifying students for participation in performing arts, two scholarships will be given to qualifying students for participation in athletic-related activities, and two scholarships wll be given to qualifying students for participation in general activities or clubs.

The purpose of these scholarships is to recognize and reward BVNW students who participate in extra-curricular activities, and to encourage others to follow their example.  Minimum requirements include:  

• 3.0 GPA
• Participation in at least one activity during junior and senior year
• A written essay entitled “What Participation in High School Activities Has Meant to Me”
